Uche Fuels Comfortable Palace Triumph at Irish Side Shelbourne.
Despite embarking on their first-ever continental campaign, Crystal Palace are learning very quickly. Missing star players like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muñoz, the London club departed Dublin with a comfortable win that virtually guarantees them a place in the Europa Conference League playoffs.

Fringe Players Seize the Moment
This occasion offered a platform for some of Palace's fringe talent to shine. Christantus Uche, in only his second start since joining on loan from Getafe, opened the scoring with a clinical goal. Striker Eddie Nketiah added a another, scoring for the second game in succession.

Following the break, coach Oliver Glasner seized the opportunity to rest several individuals like Kamada and Wharton. Replacement Romain Esse came close to scoring with his very first touch, only to see his shot blocked.
Esse was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one attempt strike off both posts before being gathered on the line. Uche also missed a glaring chance, indicating there is still scope for development in his game.
A solitary worry for Palace was a late knock to Justin Devenny, who limped off. This allowed 17-year-old striker Benji Casey to make his first-team debut, rounding off an otherwise perfect evening for the visiting side.
